There is a certainly a good mix of fast highways, dirt roads and back roads. Traversing through the English countryside makes cross country races a joyous experience while the Scottish Highlands offer a scenic mountain drive. The map looks absolutely gorgeous and is filled with stunning picturesque landscapes. Horizon 4’s map is located in Great Britain and features locations from the UK, Wales and Scotland. The main objective of the game is earning influence by doing events, races and stunts to climb up through the ranks of the ‘Horizon Festival’ and be the best driver in the country. These options help players customise their overall experience. The many options include enabling or disabling various driver aids like ABS, Stability Control, Traction Control and Driving Line. What we also love about this series is that anyone can get into it - from a casual gamer to a hardcore racing fan who owns a wheel with the wide variety of difficulty options.
Horizon 4 mitigates this problem by adding mountain roads and varied elevation thus creating a new element of gameplay and more variety. However, while the previous map was excellent but we felt it was too flat. The previous title Forza Horizon 3 featured Australia in all its glory which included many deserts and the beautiful Twelve Apostles. Let me explain how, unlike its counterpart the Motorsport line of games, Horizon ditches the hardcore nature of professional track racing and instead opts for visually stunning locations delivering positive vibes to celebrate driving in form of the “Horizon Festival”.
